Generaal Mus is a progressive rock band from Someren, Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands. But lives in Tilburg.
Generaal Mus started in the summer of 2009 with Tim van der Zanden on drums, Tim van den Burg on guitar and Laurens Jacobs on bass.
Quickly the atmosphere reached a new level, they wrote their own songs and did some shows.
Summer 2010 they decided to add more sound to their progrock ambitions, Bas van de Laar on guitar joined the band.
2011 has been a succesfull year after winning multiple bandcontests and playing many gigs. After winning the Lucas Dec Bokaal in Tilburg, Generaal Mus won 2 days studiotime and a gig at No Sleep 'Til Burg. In September we recorded our EP.
2012 is going to be even better because our recorded EP will be out in january! The CD presentation is at the Cul de Sac in Tilburg on the 26th of january 2012!
